Life brings many changes. In a lot of ways, getting a book published was a big change in my life. A lot of work went into Stink Bomb and even more work will go into book promotion. News flash…this just in…Your book has been purchased…
That’s right, my book was bought by another publishing company. Boom, another change. This is a huge development and I have to say that I’m struggling to know how to react. On one hand, a publishing company saw the cover and likes the story enough to buy the rights to Stink Bomb. On the other hand, I get to negotiate another contract. This sounds kind of exciting on the surface, but it is still a big change. This means a new publisher with new expectations and maybe even a new edition of Stink Bomb.
The publishing company will be announced soon and the then part of the publishing process will begin again. It just goes to show you, a book is never done. How do you handle life changes and how would you react to this change?

First of all, congrats on this new development! Even though I’m not so young, I realize change is part of living. As I embark on a second career of sorts (even though I work at my first line of work, and love, librarianship) as a freelance writer and published author-wannabe, I’m hopeful this new chapter will be a fulfilling one. (Okay, I’m honest: I hope it will also be a financially lucrative venture.) I would be ecstatic and feel honored if a book I wrote would be accepted by even one publisher!

Thanks for the encouragement. Keep working hard and your break will come. Or you could just self publish. Create space is pretty easy to use unless you have a lot of pictures.
